Oligio
Oligio is a monopolar RF device from Wontech; here is what a session might mean for your trip plan.
How it works
Oligio is made by Wontech and uses monopolar radiofrequency at 6.78 MHz. In monopolar systems, current flows from the handpiece through the body toward a return pad, warming tissue in the dermis along the way. The practitioner moves the tip across the skin in a planned pattern, monitoring temperature and comfort. The goal is controlled heating that may support firmer-looking skin over time.
Good to know
- Treatments are generally done in one visit, with the number of passes depending on the area.
- Warmth is the main sensation, and the doctor adjusts energy according to your comfort and skin response.
- Common reactions include temporary flushing, and results vary by person.
- As with other RF treatments, certain implants and medical conditions are reasons to avoid it.
What a Oligio session means for your travel days
It is usually an in-and-out appointment, so you can fit it between sightseeing blocks. Choose a day when you can skip hot baths or saunas afterward.
Because you won't see the finished effect before you fly, resist adding extra treatments only to feel something has changed.
Oligio: common questions
How is Oligio different from other RF devices?
Frequencies, handpieces, and protocols differ between machines. The doctor can explain what the chosen device is intended to do.
Do I need numbing?
Often not, though some people prefer it. Ask at the consultation.
Will my face be swollen for photos?
Swelling is usually mild and short-lived, but it varies. Leave a buffer between treatment and any important photo event.
