Doublo Gold
Doublo Gold, from Hironic, is a HIFU system; here is how to think about a session when your calendar is a trip itinerary.
How it works
Doublo Gold, from Hironic, is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) unit. Like other HIFU systems, it delivers focused sound energy that heats small zones beneath the skin surface. These zones are placed at selected depths by interchangeable cartridges or tips. The practitioner chooses a pattern and energy level based on the area, tissue thickness, and the goal discussed at consultation.
Good to know
- Energy is focused under the surface, so the skin typically looks close to normal immediately afterward.
- Sensations range from warmth to quick, pinching pulses; tolerance differs from person to person.
- Tightening, if it happens, builds gradually, and some people see little difference.
- Anyone with certain implants, active infection, or open wounds in the area may be advised to wait or choose another approach.
What a Doublo Gold session means for your travel days
Expect an appointment measured in less than an hour, then a return to your plans. The calmest approach is to leave the evening open in case you feel tender or tired.
Plan any alcohol-heavy or sauna-based evenings for before the session, and ask the doctor how long to avoid heat. A tidy gap between treatment and flight remains sensible.
Doublo Gold: common questions
Is there a long recovery?
For most people the surface recovery is short. Mild swelling or tenderness can happen, and the doctor can describe what is typical.
Does it replace a surgical lift?
No. HIFU works on mild to moderate laxity at most, and a doctor can explain what realistic expectations look like.
Can I combine it with other treatments on one trip?
Sometimes, but stacking procedures can complicate recovery. Ask a doctor which order and spacing make sense.
